Lyme disease and other tick-borne illnesses are at their highest levels in certain geographic areas, such as Long Island. Lyme disease is caused by Borrelia Burgdorferi, a spirochete, known as a “Great Masquerader” in medicine. Lyme disease and other tick-borne illnesses cause aches, pain, fevers, chills, headaches, seizures, cardiovascular complications, memory loss, joint and muscle pain, hormonal dysregulation and a host of other issues.

Missing early tick-borne disease, can lead to chronic illness, that is harder to treat and has advanced symptomatology.
